Tuesday, July 13, 2010 Part II

The trip to Lewiston is about 2 to 3 hours. The kids are getting a bit restless. We left quite a bit later than we had hoped from mom and dad's so the promised swimming in the pool will not happen tonight :-(

I don't even remember the time we got to Lewiston. We stop at a McDonalds to grab some dinner for everyone. This is quite a treat for all of us. We checked into the hotel and got everyone settled.

I call my sweetheart and fill him in on the adventure.

Then Skinny Sister and I took a trip to see Grandma and say a brief hello.

It was good to see her. She is just as I remembered as a child. Full of vim and vigor. For a 90 year old she is in good health and her mind is more remarkable than mine at 43.

We make plans to visit her tomorrow and take her to the park and then we bid her a good evening and we all hope for a good night's rest.

Back to the hotel room where we get everyone settled and we all get some much needed and deserved sleep.
